During this time of ever-changing plans for safety purposes, the board has been doing our best to stay on top of recent announcements from the Central Community School, Governor Reynolds, and the Iowa High School Athletic Association.
Below are all of our current updates based on the information we have received from these sources.
Little League Season
With school closed for the remainder of the year including school activities through the end of May, the board has voted to cancel this Little League season. We looked at other options for moving the season but we felt there would be too much conflict with other activities for families that are scheduled at the same time.
Little League Shirts
Shirts are still being printed. Shipping dates are changing due to COVID-19, so we will have a definitive date for you to pick them up at a central location another time once the shirts come and are printed.
We will share the date as soon as we know.
Refunds
Part of your child’s registration covers the cost of their shirt. However, that leaves some money left over. The board plans to carry this over to next year.
We will be discounting registration costs for those that sign up next year.
If your child is a 3rd grader and signs up for Town Team next year, your child will get a coupon to use towards the cost of their jersey.
Fundraiser
Casey’s Cards have continued to sell, even online. The last day to order one is May 22nd. PLEASE continue to help us spread the word to family, friends, and on social media. Anyone can order on the homepage of our website (warriorLLTT.com)
It’s unfortunate that we have to cancel the season, but we hope everyone is staying safe and still throwing the ball around with family.
